I was trying to find a gift for my tech employed son who usually has everything he wants. Not only did he LOVE this but he had not seen it to buy for himself! It even worked pretty well on my daughter's jeans! I worked best worked when she added a cloth napkin on her lap!
The key board was easy to start using right out of the box. The projected keyboard was bright and easy to use. We tested the light on multiple surfaces, i.e. kitchen table, wooden desk, marble countertop and the key board picked up on all the letters without missing a beat. The keys make a gentle click when you are pressing them so you can tell they are registering. The device itself was a lot smaller than I had expected and could easily be carried in your pocket
Definitely different and futuristic tech right in your hands. It's compact and light weight, and it's relatively intuitive. It's easy to setup but takes some adjustment to get the feel for typing on a flat surface - it feels similar to a smart phone or tablet on-screen keyboard, but the responsiveness isn't anything like those polished devices
